We are doing our best to bring developers who create firmware, apps, games, and tools for smartphones in one place with smartphone users.

What services do we offer

Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password, whether your password is with our Service or a third-party service.

You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

By having an account you have the ability to leave comments and create posts on UpDroid.

Posts

We offer our visitors firmware, apps, games, and tools for their smartphones.

Note that we do not develop by our self, everything is shared by our users.

Verified posts are posts made by our staff and the content has been verified and is safe to download. This applies to Apps, Games, Firmware, and tools that their content has been verified to be the same as the original one shared by the developer or if the author is the developer. Those posts should have a download link from a trusted service and have file signatures included in the posts (MD5 or SHA-256).

Sharing posts

Every user has the right to share posts on this site as soon as they are not in violation of any rule.

By sharing posts you have full responsibility for the content you share.

What can you share

You are allowed to share firmware, app, game, tool or tutorial.

We share 60% of the revenue of your posts with you (this is applied for posts after 1st January 2020).

The content you share should be yours or you should have permission by the creator to share.

Including any download link or file that validates the rights of our users and community is not allowed.

If any validation against our rules or legal enforcement rules is found in your posts we have the right to take your post down and you may have to take legal responsibility for it.

Links To Other Web Sites

Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by UpDroid.

UpDroid has no control over and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that UpDroid shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string and the username for spam detection.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the site.

Contact forms

When visitors submit a contact form or a bug report, we collect the data shown in the contact form. Also, the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string or the username if they have an account.

Who we share your data with

If you create posts, at the end of the post your name, profile image, social media links including PayPal link for donations, and about you will aper. You are not forced to enter any of that information instead of name when your signup.

Who has access to your data

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us (This includes: username, email, contact forms you submit, draft posts). The Administrator and And Database manager have permission to access that information.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

If you make posts we store uploaded contents (images, videos) forever, and the posts until you chose to delete it from your dashboard.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
